My first high end palette. Yup that's right. I didn't get it myself. My mom gave it to me. And she had got it (then) probably for a few years, but she doesn't use make up that much and I started to use make up. She got it as a sample, but still, do you ever get samples at a size of a palette these days? Don't think so.
This little cutie contains three colors as you see, a highlighter, a medium brown color and a dark brown color. I hit pan two out of three. I actually never highlight my eyes. I only put on eyeshadow on my moving lid and a little above.
The packaging is simple, but it doesn't look cheap to me.
You can use the shadows dry and wet for a more intense color. Each pan contains 2.9 grams and each of them has a name and number. An eyeshadow called twilight, how cool is that ;). This one's made before the Twilight Saga by the way.

In real life these colors look a little different, a bit darker and slightly more reddish. On to the swatches:

I couln't really get it well on camera, but there well pigmented, not super, but I think that's because this isn't the newest eyeshadow anymore and after years of use with water, it gets pretty hard (as in hard like a rock). So it's a little bit difficult to get some on you finger or brush, when I got it new it had great pigmentation and the shadows were softer and more crumbly. The real color of the shadows are between the two pictures of the swatches.
Would I buy these 'again' (if I had the money)? Yes, defenitely, I love these colors and shadows!
Hope you enjoyed!
