Acqua di Gioia, the perfume made for women based on Giorgio Armani's Acqua di Gio for men. I have to say I love the one for men. How about the one Armani created for women?
First I have to say, the bottle looks different from the one for men. It has more curves and isn't matte. It looks simple, but still is special. When you look at it sideways, it looks like a drop of water.
When you look at it from the top, it looks like an eye (?).
I like the shape of the bottle simple, but still complicated. On the thingy which you press to get some perfume out of it, the logo of Giorgio Armani is pressed.
Focused at the wrong place ;-) |
Top notes: mint leaves and lime
Heart notes: pink pepper, jasmine and aquatic green accord
Base notes: brown sugar, cedar and labdanum
I have the feeling that I don't smell it anymore after a few hours, but that could be me getting used to the scent, but if I wear a scarf the scent lingers for days or even weeks (in the scarf)!
I'm not a star in describing perfume, but I know it doesn't really smell like a 'sister' of Acqua di Gio. I still love this perfume though. As you can see on the first picture I already used a lot.
Would I buy this again when I finished this one? Yes. Absolutely. I love fresh perfumes for the summer!
I have a Eau de Parfum 50 ml. bought at Schiphol (Amsterdam airport). The price I don't remember, but my mom bought it for me.
