Sephora Eyeshadows

A loooong time ago I said that I would do a review on the eyeshadows of Sephora I got then, but I never came to it. I did shoot the pictures and all, they were all on my computer all that time and now, I finally have some time to do my (first impression) review on them! Just keep on reading.

Yes, you got that right, I said first impression, because I haven't really been using them *shame*. When I wore make up (in all the time that has passed), I was usually going to school and when I was going to school I always snoozed like a crazy person. By the time I got out of bed.. Well, I was in a huge rush of course. And all I had time for was filling in my eyebrows, lining my eyes and applying some mascara (didn't even curl them, so there was no use to apply mascara with my eyelashes, but I did it anyway) <-- that's the make up part, I actually do brush my teeth and stuff ;-).

Anyway my impression! First off: The purple one. All three eyeshadows have the Sephora logo pressed in the eyeshows, very subtle, I like it. This one's called #35 'Tango Night'.

The back of all three eyeshadows look like this, with a different name on it.
Some close-ups to the eyeshadow:

It's a shimmery color and think the color looks very prett, but not an everyday color, I'll probably use it as an accent color on the moving eyelid in a look when I'm going to a party. Next number 04 called 'Disco Fever'. The grey one. This one also has shimmer, all of them have, acturally. I do like to use grey in an everyday look. I don't apply it very thick, but I like to smudge it out and use it to make my look softer.

And last but not least number 26 'Carine'. It's a coolish brown. As far brown can be a cool color. It looks metallic to me. This one also contains shimmers. All of them have multi-color shimmers, but the silver ones are dominating, which make the colors cool. This one I was most excited about, because this was most a 'every day' color.

Well, so far the pictures of the eyeshadows, onto the swatches! Be warned: my skin looks very dry. It probably was.

It looks like the brown one has the most pigment. The grey and purple aren't as pigmented as the brown one. Too bad, I was actually very excited to use them. I did use the brown one, it was okay. The others I haven't used yet, but when I do, I'm defenitely going to use my eyeshadow primer.

How do you like Sephora's eyeshadows? Let me know :-)

xoxo Anna
